Medieval

General Aspects:

Patriarchal, conquerors, man-made laws, speaking, discipline, duality, antithesis

Description:

Charioteer has taken on the role of the protector of others. He is the true warrior who charges forth into the world he responds to and for which he feels responsible. He thinks he must defend others' rights - the essence of paternalism. This is a wickedly deceptive trump, for what is war except self-justification? The charioteer solves naught; he creates another problem.

Interpreted use:

You plunge on courageously. That's great, but for whom are you fighting?

Reversed (card received upside down):

Stop taking on another's load. You'd be wiser to sit picking beams out of your own eye.
