Medieval

General Aspects:

Patriarchal, conquerors, man-made laws, speaking, discipline, duality, antithesis

Description:

Justice is a recognizable progression from Truth. She is seated in her courtroom, a determined and intermediary, a wise woman whose mind delivers moral laws which man seeks. Again the sword is seen in her hand, but its cutting blade is raised upwards in defiance. In her other hand scales are balanced, a sign of equilibrium. While in the Trump of TRUTH she accepted cosmic law, our Piscean JUSTICE rules with man-made law, thinking she improves humankind. Whereas TRUTH is inviolable, whatever JUSTICE takes place in the world is brought about by temporary understanding, man made logic and morals of the time, and hence is not eternal.

Interpreted use:

Balance the scales; it is up to you to keep the equilibrium between man-made and cosmic law.

Reversed (card received upside down):

Are you truly just? Or just being just?
